The sole basis of our belief is the Bible.

God

There is only one true, living, Holy God, Creator of the Heavens and the Earth. At the same time, He is a three-in-one, or triune, God—the Father, the Son (Jesus), and the Holy Spirit, sustaining and governing all that has been created.

Jesus Christ

Though fully man, Jesus was fully God. He was born of a virgin and lived a sinless life, suffered at the hands of men, died on the cross fully atoning for the sins of all, was resurrected from the dead, and ascended to heaven sitting at God’s right hand as our intercessor. Someday, He will return to judge the living and the dead for the restoration of all things.

The Bible

The Bible is the Word of God. The Scripture in its entirety is composed of the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments, which originated with God, and was given through the instrumentality of many different chosen authors. It points to the only true way for our salvation.

Salvation

We believe that Salvation is wholly a work of God’s free grace, received by repentance and faith. Each person can be made new in Christ by the Holy Spirit and then continuously grow in the grace and knowledge of God.

Christian Ordinances

We observe two biblical ordinances rooted in the actions and teachings of Jesus Christ and believe every Christian ought to be baptized and to participate in Communion (the Lord’s Supper). These ordinances represent both the individual, inward commitment to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and the corporate, outward sign of being connected to a local community of Christ followers.
