Good Shepherd is a group of people where each of us live our lives as generously as possible.
Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds (not stock portfolios), and to be generous and willing to share. In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life. 1 Timothy 6:17-19
“You have not lived today until you have done something for someone who can never repay you.” ~ John Bunyon
The wicked borrow and never repay, but the godly are generous givers. Psalm 37:21
A generous man will prosper; he who refreshes others will himself be refreshed. Proverbs 11:25

2. Give selflessly.
And they did not do as we expected, but they gave themselves first to the Lord and then to us in keeping with God’s will. 2 Corinthians 8:5
3. Give willingly.

4. Give thankfully.

…Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand. 1 Chronicles 29:14
Giving is just returning what God has provided. It all comes from Him.
5. Give intentionally.
You must make up your own mind as to how much you should give. Don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. 2 Corinthians 9:7
By doing this, you will be storing up real treasure for yourself in heaven—it is the only safe investment for eternity. 1 Timothy 6:19
The Promise: You cannot out-give God.
